About the Role
Mid-Level 3D Generalist
3D Generalist with a strong understanding of the VFX production pipeline, artistic sensibility, and the ability to create high-quality CG assets for film and broadcast. Must be capable of handling modeling, texturing, lighting, and rendering while ensuring seamless integration of CG elements with live-action footage according to industry standards.
Requirements
3–5 years of experience in Film / OTT / Broadcast VFX projects.
Strong understanding of the VFX 3D pipeline, including modeling, texturing, lighting, look development, and rendering for film and broadcast projects.
Proficient in industry-standard 3D software such as Maya / Blender / Houdini, with solid experience in asset creation, scene setup, and rendering workflows. Familiarity with Arnold, Redshift, or V-Ray is preferred.
Good understanding of CG integration with live-action plates, including camera tracking workflows, scale accuracy, lighting matching, and render passes required for compositing.
Working knowledge of compositing pipelines, render layers, AOVs, and how CG assets integrate into compositing software such as Nuke.
Basic understanding of FX simulations, environment creation, and procedural workflows is an added advantage.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and shots, collaborate with compositors and supervisors, troubleshoot technical issues, and deliver assets within production deadlines while maintaining industry-quality standards.
